Meet Parisa, a New Yorker originally from Iran, who turned her childhood hospital experiences into a mission to help others. Growing up, she thought she wanted to be a doctor to make a difference. Although she didn’t become a doctor, she found another way to make an impact—by participating in clinical trials. After researching online, Parisa joined a clinical trial. While her husband was initially concerned, Parisa felt a responsibility to contribute to medical progress. In the end, he supported her decision, and she found fulfillment in knowing she helped advance healthcare.

If you are courageous enough to be the first, then you should be proud of yourself.
